A. Powell Sanders graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1996. Mr. Sanders acquired a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science in 1993, also from the University of Arkansas. After graduating law school Mr. Sanders began practicing law under the supervision of his stepfather, Sam Sexton, Jr. After practicing law for only three years, Mr. Sanders opened his own law firm, that being the Sexton & Sanders Law Firm. Mr. Sanders has also practiced in the Oklahoma court system having been admitted pro hac vice on occassion in Oklahoma. Mr. Sanders is admitted to the Eastern and Western Districts of the Federal District Court in Arkansas. Mr. Sanders is a member of the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys; Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association; Arkansas Bar Association; and the American Association for Justice (formerly known as the Association of Trial Lawyers of America). Mr. Sanders is an avid horseman and motorcycle rider. |
